blending mode

which is usually set to normal. You can get this function even from dialogue window – layer style, however,

blending mode

can only be used when there’s two or more laters. By changing blending mode we can achieve many nice but also dramatic results. In our photoshop video tutorial we’ve only used one

which is Dissolve. Photoshop blending mode – dissolve is a bit atypical for its mix of colors and not   very useful for photographers.
