Alpha channel is 8-bit channel, which means it has 256 grey levels from 0 – 255. The important thing about channels is that then can be stored, modified or combined. If you save a selection /Select – Save Selection/ you can retrieve it again anytime /Select – Load Selection/. In today’s video

It will be used – we’ll select a specific part of image and we will apply photoshop filter to it. Using this technique we have achieved the effect where half of the picture looks like a cartoon and the other one is retained original.
