Today we will be dealing with new photoshop tool which is called path and more specifically

This tool allows us create amazing effects in photoshop. In our case we used text on which we have showed you the strength and the use of tool

It doesn’t matter what color of lettering you choose because with help of function Create Work Path, we’ll create these and in further work we’ll only be using these lines. We’ll change from layers to paths, we’ll chose photoshop tool brush. Now it’s time to experiment. You can try as many of them as you like, you just have to adjust their size. Of course, you can change color as well.

Stroke path

can be aplicated few times, however, it is good to change the size and color of your brush. Everything is shown in high detail in this photoshop video tutorial. as we already said, we won’t need tool brush and the wanted effect will be created by over lapping layers. We’ll open our wanted picture and duplicate it three times. We’ll start working at the bottom layer. As you see in

we will be using filters and there will be few of them. Every layer will be changed by a different filter. We’ll be changing blending mode as well – and it will be different with every layer again. We won’t be taking about the filters used today in high details, we’ll look at them more closely in other

By adding the last layer we’re trying to achieve an effect of first sketch of our picture so that a realistic effect is achieved. has a lot of opportunities and therefore it is a very useful tool in photoshop. Gradient tool is located on the left side of photoshop together with tool called Paint Bucket Tool.

can be activated by using your computer mouse or pressing the button G and then Shif+G, which will switches between gradient tool and paint bucket tool. Its easy enough to use gradient tool – after choosing your color you fill in canvas in a way that you click and drag cursor across canvas. The larger the drag the more gradual the gradient will be. Pressing and holding the Shift key will create perfectly aligned gradients. As you see in this photoshop video tutorial, we mainly worked with channels and photoshop

Duotone color mode

is a general name for multicolor print. Duotone in photoshop is composed of four multi-tone pictures. Every picture contains a set amount of ink. Monotone picture printed in one color. Duotone picture printed in two colors, Tritone in three colors and Quadtone in four colors. Photoshop

is usually used to create a colorful sepia regime and this is achieved by using black and yellow color. In our case, we combined black and magenta color in our video tutorial.

Duotone color mode

creates a very dramatic effect which is quite well saturated with colours. If you want to use duotone color mode in photoshop, your picture has to be changed to colorful regime grayscale, otherwise the menu duotone will be non-active. Duotone color mode is a great opportunity for creating monochromatic prints. In this adobe photoshop video tutorial we’ve tried to show you a way of improving a picture with the help of duotone color mode. First, we transfered the picture to grayscale and then we added to black color magenta and further kept improving picture until the final results was achieved. As we already said earlier, this improvement to a picture is used to achieve a sepia effect.
